Does anyone remember the Knobbies and Sawdust treads back in the 50's.
I had a 53 Chevy and even with them, I had chains on about three months out of the year.
No I sure don't. Not to long ago there was (may still ? ) a company that did retreaded mud/snow tire with something in the rubber that was "rough" to help improve traction on ice. If I can find the name I'll post it
