I did that very experiment, I thought the group was a little tighter. I think what you do get is more consistant presure therefore velocity. I do the same with the 7.62x39 in my little CZ carbine.
I know I bang on about this bullet, but hornady also do loaded ammo, I am a big fan of any company who comes out with a product for a calibre, dare I say it, that many seem to think is obsolete.
Tongue in check here, I know its still very popular in the US, you battle to find even cases for it down here.
