I also posted this in the campfire but thought it fit here as well.
One of my friends is a teacher in this small wyoming town's school. He is an avid fisherman who guides summer trips on the side.
The students have designed an apparatus for the irrigation diversions out of the river to keep the trout out of the irrigation systems. If winning the project they will be awarded $140,000 to kick start the project. Most of the kids are hard working local ranch kids.
