I rented Munich last night and came away fairly impressed. It's got an odd tone that I can't really explain, other than dark and gritty. Given the subject matter, I guess that's appropriate. Spielberg directed it, and while I haven't seen Schindler's List (and won't) I have a feeling it may be similar in some ways. I liked the suspense, and thought the movie connected the audience to the emotions of the main character pretty well. The '70s look was captured very well, and I'd give it two thumbs up as a "period piece." Watching it right before bedtime was a bit of a mistake, but I hate to waste daylight. It's about 2.75hrs IIRC, but the time is well used to fully take the audience on the intended journey.
