For those picking up MRC's that want to use a pic rail, I tried Farrell and was pretty unhappy with the fit and design overall. Now, I tried some EGW rails which are a much better fit. The EGW pic rail including screws only weighs 2 ounces vs. 7 ounces for the Farrell, comparing short action rails. Also, the EGW sits much lower.

The only place I could find the EGW rail was through Optics Planet and it took about three weeks from time of order to delivery. So, plan accordingly.

Nightforce Ultralight rings weigh 3 ounces. If you use these, a piece of two sided scotch tape on the inside of the rings is helpful to prevent movement. See my MRC thread in the very first post.

Talley Lightweight one piece rings and bases weigh 3 ounces.

So, the EGW pic rail with NF Ultralight rings weighs 5 ounces total vs. 3 ounces for the Talleys.

These are the only two pic rails that I found that are made for the MRC at this time.
