Called in this longbeard Saturday morning for my 9 year old son.
It was a textbook hunt and he got to hear the bird strut and drum and shake the ground with his gobbles inside of 20 yards
The boy did great - shot him with my SBE2 just like I carry it but with a high brass pheasant load. He had the barrel rested on my bog pod tripod and kept his cool while the bird strutted perfectly in front of where the gun was aiming (there was no chance we would be able to adjust without a ton of movement)
