Wow, Bert! I would gladly pay over market value for something like that with provenance like that. Sometimes I like the story more than the gun (like the time I bought a crappy M1900 Browning only because it was carried by a Flying Tiger in aerial combat, with provenance, from his widow). This gun of yours has that beat though- it's a Savage!!
