Get s string for a 52" bow. That's what the masuremnt is on there for, the strings are made for AMO standards and will be the proper length.

Must be a short bow....all AMO poundage measurments for recurves are at 28", and if you draw it 30" it may pinch your fingers. But most compound shooters find their draw goes down at least 2" and sometimes 3" with a recurve.

It's a little light for whitetails, but would proably work if it's legal in yoru state. It is in mine, but many states have a 45# limit. Aluminum would work well , probably 2016s or even smaller.
