I stumbled on one the other day. An Omark (Aussie made) 308 range rifle virtually unfired that had been in Dad's safe for 25 years that had been given to him back then. It's a 308 as well. He gave it to me rather than let it gather dust.
Whacked a 20 Moa rail on it, a new scope and it's already putting five shots into 6 inches at 750y.
