A friend brought over a Remmington 1908 12ga that came in a takedown case. It belonged to his wife's father. With it broken down he couldn't figure out how to get it back together. So he asked me. I am a gun guy although I have never seen one of these before.

So I said "sure no problem"... well I will be darned if I can get it back together either. It seems like I need to slide either the barrel or the tube magazine out of the way and start with other but I can't get either to budge.

Any ideas?
