Eye relief has is/has been a none issue. I have used them on a 300WinMag with a sporter barrel and Manners carbon fiber stock, 300 Weatherby's, and a 300 Jarret. Also 7mm RM, and a Blaser R93 in 338WM.
If people have an issue with this scope and eye relief, they really have an issue with crawling the stock/mounting the gun. It's not critical.
