I bought this gun here on the campfire about five years ago, and simply have not shot it, so it is time for it to go.

The trigger has been worked on--nice crisp and in the 3-3.5# range. LOP is 13 1/4".

LH Stainless Ruger, chambered in 338-06, laminated stock. Extremely nice rebarrel job. The crown is clean, the lettering sharp and professional.

The new barrel, a Shilen according to shooter42 from whom I purchased the gun, is slightly smaller than the original contour, and the gap was very neatly filled with black bedding material.

The barrel is 22" long, .635" at the muzzle, and the gun weighs 7# 7 oz. on my scales. The thinner mid-section of the barrel gives the gun a lively feel in hand.

Having not shot it, I can provide no information regarding its accuracy, although I see nothing about how the gun was put together that leads me to expect any issues. Figure $500 for the action and stock, $250 for the barrel, $250 to have it chambered, and $150 for bedding and trigger job, and the approximate cost to build the gun would be north of a grand.
