due to some other obligations, I did not get to spend a lot of time at the range. I did get 50 rounds down range though, and see no problem at all with the trigger pull. Feels the same to me.
As for the front sight, I have been carrying this pistol several times a week for well over a year now, and don't see any issues with the front sight.

My Grandfather used to tell me "Watch the front sight, and squeeze the trigger!"

It got shortened down to "watch the front sight" when I was teaching cadets.
