Anyone had their bolts coated with this product? What's your opinion?

Eddie Fosnaugh did this bolt for me in MicroSlick a few years ago. I liked it, I no longer have this rifle & didn't use it that much but it sure seemed slick after he coated it. Kind of a nice color IMHO, sort of a grey I guess.

The Nosler factory rifles have it. Both of my M48 rifles feed flawlessly.

Interesting. No external lube required then?

Had my 1960's vintage Sako 338 Cerekoted and bolt Microslicked...that stuff is slicker than two eels trying to mate. Excellent product.

I had the guys at Kentucky Gun Coatings Cerakote my Higgins 50 in 270 and they micro-slicked it too, really nice, it does indeed make it 'slicker'

www.kyguncoat.com

Check 'em out! I got the barreled action, rings, and bases completed in 2 colors to include micro-slick for $230 and that included shipping both ways!

I'd recommend it for Rem 700 action, but did not like the results on my Definance. Not enough clearance. I'd go NP3 next time around.
