Bought this a few weeks back and decided it was redundant with a .30-06 in my collection. The significant other wants to start deer hunting this year so she'll need a rifle. I'd prefer a tikka or sako a7 but I'm open minded. This rifle was listed as unfired, and I have not fired it. I can find no discernible marks but I will rate it at 95% to be safe. Shipped price is $550 for those interested in buying. I can text or email pics to whoever wants them. Thanks, Jon.

It was listed as used, and unfired as part of an elderly gentleman's collection. I have no reason to believe this claim is incorrect. It looks brand new.

If someone is sincerely interested I will shoot the rifle for groups, but I doubt it will underperform any other factory tikka.

I am hoping to find someone that has a child/wife ready to make the jump from 243 to something more potent. I have a 110 lb girlfriend and a 3 and 5 year old that will be soon occupying my deer blind, otherwise I would keep the .270. My .30-06 will do well for me wink

Not the best pictures but they will do. Sling not included. I think I am just down to wanting another Tikka or a Sako A7.

Instead of a smaller round for your better half did you try any reduced loads? Federal Fusion Lite Rifle Ammo for the .270 is rated at half the recoil

•Perfect for deer-sized game
•Reduces felt recoil by up to 50%
•Boat tail rifle bullet design

I looked into the reduced loads but I wasn't really sure how well they worked and they are pretty expensive around here. I've got a couple .22s, a .270, and a 30-06 right now and I kinda feel like my safe would be more well rounded with a .243 than the .270. I've been using my '06 for coyote hunting in some flat open terrain and I really worry about ricochet so the .243 having a wide selection of varmint bullets is a plus too. Good deer rifle for them and good coyote rifle for me.

$550 shipped or trade on a .243, maybe a .25-06 or .260

Here is a Tikka in 243 caliber. No idea if the guy would trade or not and it is blued instead of stainless.

I have the 243. Thought of a 270 for my son. Will give this some thought.

I'll throw in a $25 e-gift card I've been saving from Opticsplanet for the right trade, would get you started on some quality rings or whatever.

I am going to take the money it would have costed me to trade and invest it in some dies and work up some light loads. Thanks everyone, this rifle is withdrawn.
