I need a new scope! I want at least 20' field of view on the bottom magnification setting. It has to have at least 20X on the top setting. Here's the crunch. Since I'm old, I want less than 20 ounces. Also I need very good low light performance. Any suggestions?

What? You, the foremost optics person here asking what scope YOU should buy??
Just trying to start an argument so you can show your supreme optics intelligence.

I expected this kind of thing from the less mature. Now maybe someone with some information will chime in.
I am not asking what scope I should buy. I am wanting to know if there is a scope that fits my requirements.

I'm plenty mature I assure you. Your post is just incredibly funny as you run around this board garnering attention and lecturing other folks about optics.

GregW,
One symptom of immaturity is being defensive. Another is wanting the last word.

GregW,
One symptom of immaturity is being defensive. Another is wanting the last word. Mature?? Most of the junk you post is on par for a below average twelve tear old kid. Grow up!

I read the Optics Forum every day, mainly for entertainment value. I learn quite a bit too, as the optics industry has been in over drive for the last 15 years, trying produce scopes that can compete with the S&Bs and other so-called alpha scopes but at a price point that doesn't require you to take out a second mortgage on your home.
Rich simply reports what he does and what his results were. At least he's reporting objective results. I don't believe he's lying, nor does he berate or insult others who arrive at different conclusions and proceed to insult him. He may drone on a bit long about his testing procedure & conclusions, but I've yet to see him try to attack another poster, or call another poster a liar. I believe this thread is one of the few where he deviated from his normal format in that he called unnamed poster(s) "immature".
