I have friends that have killed a couple of truck loads of Oregon bulls with their .308's and the Hornaday 165 ILFB.

I see NO advantage to the BT style and they can tend to slip their jackets easier.

I'd run the Hornaday and not look back....

Elk die easily, "if shot well" and very hard if shot improperly with just about anything.......
