Anyone here use maple syrup/water to mix seasoning in with meat? I used bacon ends and pieces for the fat. Looking for a maple flavor if'n ya get my drift..

have tried both methods,
To be honest could not tell a big difference in taste.
I discovered I like just reg venison breakfast sausage drizzled with a little real maple syrup after cooking better for taste IMO
