That one looks exceptionally good. What is the blade length on that particular one...? Looks longer than the 4" that Rick mentioned on the other thread. And what kind of micarta is that butterscotch, is it paper or linen or what...? Is the tang tapered, and does it have liners...? That's a very nice cuttin' iron. Congratulations on a really goodun'...!

Congratulations on a really goodun'...! Danny it tapered both direction to .008. Butterscotch I jigged in the Remington pattern. Layton made the sheath from horse hide. A-2 is cutting stuff one of the few carbon steel's that air harden. I use forced air along with aluminum quench plates. Multiple cryo and temper cycles make for a stress free cutting tool that sharpens easy. Rc @ 61

The actual cutting length is just s smidgen over 4".
From the edge of the scale to the tip of the knife is 4 1/2".
I'm pretty sure Rick covered the rest of it.
