I have Laredo Classic LRH with BOSS in 7mm rem mag that I have trying to sell. I asked guys on this forum of its value and was told between $650 and $850 (depending on the condition). The one I have is in very good condition.
While I am trying to sell it, some guy offered me a trade for Win 70 Classic stainless model with CRF in 30-06. I don't know how much Classics run. He told me if he is to sell outright it would be $700 dollars.
Do you guys think that it is a trade of two equally valued guns??
God Bless.

I would be happy with that trade, even more so if the 30-06 was a Fwt.

Thank you sbrmike, How much do they run for? His is used with some scratches on the fore-stock. GB is putting it around $600 and other local websites (armslist) around $550 and $600 some with nice scopes.

I'd be all over that trade if I were you...

I'm with winpoor, I don't care for the old 7mm rem mag either. However, I made my longest shot on a buck with one a couple years back... Ranged with angle comp on at 648 yards. wink . They can be very accurate, but I saw my widest velocity fluctuations and poor SD's and extreme spreads with it.

Mr Adeel 1981, If you are a hunter, and you must be in this gun at a good price going by what you are asking for it, do yourself a favor, find a good used vx3 4.5x14 Leupold and go shoot the dam thing, if you do not have the solid weight ,wear ear plugs and start out where the chart says with the grain bullet you are shooting, I will help you fine tune the BOSS! You may be amazed at just how dog dam accurate these things can be! I'm getting back into a cow feeding deal and need to downsize or I would buy the thing even though I'm not a 7 rem mag guy! I shot these and Remmys answer the Sendero, make mine a Laredo any and all days! the very best WinPoor

I bought it off of him, however I would welcome some advice on how to tune the BOSS, this is my first Winchester with one on it. I've got a buddy who swears by the BOSS on his browning 338, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Honestly I don't think they look bad at all on the Laredo.

Some where I have the tables that are the starting point, decide what grain bullet you want to shoot and I will get you started, I spent a long time with the nice fellow that did R&D on the BOSS system,36,000 rounds in a 100 yard tunnel with a 36X scope. Winchesters were shooting 1/4 inch many times with factory ammo. very best winpoor
