I'm looking for a 50s Featherweight in .250. Decent condition with no pads, compasses, or moose carved into the buttstock. Not looking for a collector gun, just a very nice shooter.

Willing to deal in cash or I have a few Savages to trade if need be. Contact me if you've got one you'd part with.

Rod

No, I would guess the .358 and .243 are both tougher to find in an F. .250s aren't common, but they can be found.

My bro got a sweet 250F when we split up dad's collection after he passed away. Still makes me grumble. I did get the 243 300 308 and 358 Fs. Shoulda stuck that 250 in my pile, haven't found one to match its condition.

Shucks, I saw one with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer carved in the stock, with a compass for a nose. Guess you wouldn't want that one, Phil.

Sounds like that one may have been owned by Gene Autry. I'd pay double for a collector's item like that.

Thought I had one located for ya at a good price, but then I noticed it was for sale in Canada. Oops. I've got a rat, but it needs a new buttstock.

I have seen many hundreds of 99s over the last 10 years.

Still havent yet seen (in person) a 99F in 250.

I'll be sending one in his direction. Don't know if he wants more than one?
