I've been stating for quite a while that we've been sold out. As time goes by and if you're lucky, the rest of the story will come out. One of the main reasons I want Trump to turn the GOP upside down, and then to burn it to the ground.

The Mitch McConnell legislative agenda was written for him prior to taking his position as Senate Majority Leader. The author of the agenda was a group of Wall Street financiers who organize under the construct of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Tom Donohue as CoC President.

Donohue then spends millions through K-Street lobbyists to insure his legislative priorities are maintained. In the run-up to the 2014 mid-terms Donohue was very specific on what his demands were of the GOPe team, Boehner and McConnell:

♦ Comprehensive Immigration Reform – to include Amnesty for illegal aliens.

♦ Support for full delivery of Federal Common CORE education standards

♦ The full implementation of ObamaCare without adjustment.

♦ Trans Pacific Trade Deal (Currently in negotiations)

So it should come as no surprise to see the hand-out given to the Republican senators by John Thune would specifically call for the GOP to frame the CoC position on these issues in the August recess ‘Town Hall’ meetings.

Breitbart.Com received a copy of the instructions and share:

[…] While Thune’s instructions urge GOP Senators to meet with business groups during the August recess to tout the GOP’s support for President Barack Obama’s unpopular free-trade treaties, the package ignores the issue that is dominating the national political dialogue and is popular amongst the GOP’s voter base– curbing the huge swell of Democrat-leaning migrants and guest-workers arriving in the United States.

[…] The package advises Senators and staffers to arrange a press event at their a local Chamber of Commerce to tout the passage of Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) which cedes Congress’ authority to negotiate trade deals to President Obama allowing for the speedy passage of unpopular trade agreements that will subject American sovereignty to governance of a global commission similar to the European Union.

This is yet more evidence of what we have been outlining for several years.

It is not by accident Mitch McConnell refused to repeal ObamaCare under the same legislative structure it was created, 51 party line votes – while simultaneously using legislative construct to change the tools of the Senate and pass Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) with a simple majority.

McConnell and Boehner didn’t want to adjust thresholds to repeal ObamaCare, but did want to adjust thresholds to pass TPA. His motives and intents are transparent when you understand he’s only doing what The U.S. Chamber of Commerce want him to do.

When you understand the Establishment Republican party apparatus wants to advance the interests of Tom Donohue (CoC), and not the interests of the republican base of conservative electorate, you also begin to understand what they really mean by not taking up legislation they call “risky”.

The GOP will say they don’t want to bring up immigration legislation due to the controversial nature within an election year. What they’re doing is hiding behind a false premise that the legislation itself is dangerous to the election. In essence, they use fear as a tool to keep the electorate from understanding their true intents.

The reason the McConnell/Boehner clan doesn’t want to deal with immigration reform, border security, or other legislation they call “risky”, is actually because they support the opposite side of the conservative position.

By retaining ObamaCare McConnell can politically claim “they didn’t make it”, and yet receive the benefit from K-Street (money) for its continued existence. It is, simply, a trick.

Whether a Democrat or a Republican, when it comes to legislative priorities, there is essentially little difference. They are both sides of the same big government political coin.

This is why the same people, holding the same priorities, formulated the GOPe road map to nominate Jeb Bush. When you understand the enemy of Republicans is not Democrats, everything you see begins to make more sense. The actual enemy of professional Republicans is conservatives.

No one inside this construct within Washington DC or the Republican National Committee, who carries the approval of the Republican party affiliation, is going to be able to stop the Robert-The-Bruce usurpation.

And every vile resource and insufferable tool will be deployed by the GOPe to retain their power….

DC really fears Donald Trump because they see Trump pulling support from all areas of the political spectrum. And when Hillary is replaced by the Democrat apparatus, the main reason will be because they know Hillary would be resoundingly defeated by him.

Agreed! Time to burn it down.

if the mainstream repubs don't re-find solid ground, they need to sign-on with the demo's to represent their conservative wing.

we'll become more of a unified party, as has been occurring for some time.

but, as a caveat, either Trump or someone like him can breathe life into the repub hollow shirts.

One of the main reasons I want Trump to turn the GOP upside down,

Trump has been a longtime proponent of single-payer health care funded by federal largesse. He has also heartily endorsed Obama’s signature Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

In his 2000 book, “The America We Deserve,” Trump urged Americans “to reexamine the single-payer plan” and hoped “to improve on the prototype” of national health care implemented in Canada and the United Kingdom.

“We must have universal healthcare,” Trump flatly pronounced in the book (currently available used for $3.94 at Amazon).

Sounds like status quo to me grin

All of American Government needs to be burned to the ground and started over. And the only way that will ever happen is when closeted blue lever pullers are "outed", people finally accept that the Republican Party is even bigger whores than the Democrats and folks wake the puck up and start supporting the true Libertarian view of what Government should be and who actually calls the shots.

Otherwise we'll all be talking about the same crap 10 years from now.

it's been as clear as writing on the wall just how fast should this country be moving toward socialistic principles? yes, it flies in the face of all of our conservative principles, but it is happening as we speak.

and it continues to happen. just how fast the change is up to the voters on voters day.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if there was an agreement ahead of time between the Democrats and the Republican leadership for ObamaCare to pass the way it did...with the full complicity of the Republican leadership...so the Republicans could 'save face' and at the same time benefit from ObamaCare the way you have described above. The Republican leadership's 'objection' to it being nothing more than a ploy...a ruse.

That makes a lot of sense; especially since the GOP has voted to repeal obamacare more than 50 times. grin

This Wall Street template is nearly the same as jebby's - their backed guy

♦ Comprehensive Immigration Reform – to include Amnesty for illegal aliens.

♦ Support for full delivery of Federal Common CORE education standards

♦ The full implementation of ObamaCare without adjustment.

♦ Trans Pacific Trade Deal (Currently in negotiations)

In an attempt to 'show' the American public that they were 'against' it.

Did you sleep through 2008-2010? I love a good conspiracy theory, but living through the passage of zero care, won't allow my imagination that much fantasy.

On top of that, Congress holds the purse strings. They've funded and rubber stamped EVERYTHING Obama has wanted.

If you can count, its not all that hard to figure. Can you imagine; one team for and one team against? Something ain't it.
