Took the family to the St Louis zoo today. Several times I caught my self picking a spot where I wanted to put my arrow!! 2 times that come to mind are a 35 yard shot on a lesser kudu and the other was a 20 yard shot on a brown bear. Tell me guys and gals, am I sick in the head or is it just a bad case of hunting fever?

I do that all of the time. It helps to be able to visualize the animal in 3D and see where the vitals and heavy bones are. Mental practice like that doesn't hurt anything. If you find yourself sneaking over the zoo fence, bow in hand, then you've gone a mite far.

Yes you are sick! There is a 12 step program to cure what you have. I can not say if it works or not. I have been told that "need" to go. Maybe in another life. Then again not even then!!
