Don't know about that...but, the fancy one would probably be a step up from the one I got at Costco for 19 bucks...The article is right about one thing, use it all the time.
I have an ancient Hamilton-Beech unit that has produced a lot of fine food. The old timer is on it's last legs though, and really needs to be replaced. I know I won't be spending $230 on on though.
