I've come across one of these in what I would consider 95%, with a few very faint marks in the stock, which you have to hold just right in the light to see. The only downside I can see is that they do not have the box.

I never see Coopers in my area, so coming across this one is unusual. It seems that most people posting here have multiples, with the 22 LR being the most popular.

Are there any issues with the Cooper HMRs? I contacted Cooper and it appears that this rifle shipped out in 2002. Would that bother any of you who have or have had them?

Also, when I do a search on Gunbroker under closed auctions, I couldn't find any of these that sold to get an idea on the going rate for one. What is a fair price for this model in excellent condition?

coopers are awesome rifles they are semi custom rifles. 17hmr is a very accurate caliber. A cooper lvt would be too heavy to lug around very far. If you buy a cooper make sure you get the box or it really is not worth purchasing unless you get a fire sale price on it. That little laminated test target is a must have. 1600-2000 dollars is a ball park figure. I like nice wood so i pay according to the wood quality.
