Sweet! I never got around to making the drive this summer like I'd planned, but maybe next year ...

Great stuff there. Nice work. I fished the Lochsa coming back from Jellystone two weeks ago..... They were smashing nearly anything I threw. This was the biggest... sorry there is nothing to scale him againist, but it was hard to get a cell shot and still get him released quick.

Nice! But you'd better check the color balance on your camera.

I didn't measure it, but I'd bet 17-18, anyway. Did you do Black Canyon, Cayuse or Ruby? I've had some great memories made in that area..... Just don't seem to have the time (or in truth, make time) as much any more.

Caught dozens of big whitefish when I switched to nymphs I was wondering as I was scrolling thru your first few pics if you ever caught whitefish. You answered my question nicely! Thanks for the pics (you too 'slave) and the hints on where to go next year if they ever fully staff us again and I get some "extra" time off. Those rivers and creeks are not too far away. Non-res license, but... oh well. Geno
