I'm not sure when is the best time to jump in to say hi and introduce myself, so here it goes! Hi guys, my name's Justin and I live in the southern metro and hunt a little ways up north of Island Lake Inn area in Mn and The Boulder Junction area of Northern WI.

Stay away from the Inn. They trap you there with good greasy food and ice cold beer. Damn them!

Thanks guys, it looks like a few guys from down around me and yes it was good to talk to you tzone. Yeah my buddy, his dad and his uncle and I have a lease on county land off of Three Lakes Rd near 4 up there and the deer and partridge are both piss poor this year and the wolves are thick as tics again. The deer hunting has been bad the last three years but partridge has mostly been good. We were up last weekend to put up a handful of stands but it's really looking like a good year to drink a lot of coffee, some Windsor and play cards whilst setting by the wood stove.

You think it ain't!?  I didn't know people actually hunted deer at deer camp until I started hunting in WI in 1996. Before that I thought it was just where we played cards while drinking coffee and Windsor.
