Yep, the website just started listing it yesterday.

Those who don't like using a credit card on the Internet can order by mail: Deep Creek Press, PO Box 579, Townsend, MT 59644-0579. As noted earlier the price of $32.50 includes shipped (media mail) and handling, and all copies are autographed. If you want something special with the autograph, just include a note in the envelope.

The books will be here sometime during the last week of October, and will be mailed then.

Hello John:

While I certainly would have enjoyed reading a chapter on the old 300 H&H, I know it's considered antiquated by most younger shooters, and is assuredly over shadowed by the many newer .300 hot rods.

But, I know I would enjoy sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter day reading this book, and likely learn something new on the other calibers I enjoy.

So, if you will, put me down for a copy as well.

Respects,
Richard

Buckskin,

Chapter 41 is all about the .300 H&H, so you should be OK!

I just tried to send a "form PM" to everybody who said they'd like to get the book, but if I missed you here it is:

Pre-orders can be made by credit-card on our website, www.riflesandrecipes.com.
Media mail shipping is included in the $32.50 price, and we autograph all our books. If you want an individualized autograph, either for yourself or somebody else, let us know in the space provided on the site.

If you have problems with the website (they occur rarely, but do happen) and have a PayPal account, you can also send $32.50 to eileenriflesandrecipes.com, along with what it’s for and your mailing address.

You can also send a check or money order for $32.50 to Deep Creek Press, PO Box 579, Townsend, MT 59644-0579, with a note including your mailing address, what you’re ordering, and any special autograph requests.

If you prefer ordering by phone call Eileen at 406-521-0273.

If you live outside the U.S. extra shipping will be necessary. If in Canada, our bank charges a LOT to handle checks or money orders, even if in American dollars, so it’s easiest to use a credit card, but we also accept Canadian cash, as we visit your fine country often. It’s probably easiest to phone 406-521-0273, or e-mail eileenriflesandrecipes.com.

The books will be shipped as soon as the first printing arrives later in the month.

Thanks!

baldhunter,

Most people aren't having problems ordering from the website, but somebody reported that when they ordered as a "guest," rather than registering, it went right through.

Sorry for the problems, but glad ordering through PP worked. And if anybody still has problems, phoning always works.

I just ordered my copy on the website with no problem. I predict that this book will become a classic. I already have a special place on my bookshelf reserved for it. Thank you, John, for bringing this book to fruition.
