I shoot clay targets nearly every weekend at a local gun club. We did a group buy on a couple pallets of 'Nobel Sport Italia' low recoil shotshells. I got a couple flats of 12 and 20 gauge and have been experiencing issues in several of the shotguns I use. Am told other people have been having issues with it also.

I've particularly been having issues with the 20 gauge. I'm 10-4 that low recoil means the semi autos are going to have less to work with to cycle. The 20 gauge autos I'm working with all are set up to run on light ammo including opening up gas ports a drill size. 20 gauge guns tried that just can't be made to cycle reliably with this ammo have included: an SKB auto, Browning B-80, Rem 1100, Rem 11-48 and a couple Remington 11's. These same guns will run no problem on Remington/Federal 'gun club' type loads.

So I thought I'd burn it up in my 20 gauge pumps and even that is an adventure; I get very sticky extraction in an 870 and a mint and well tuned Model 12 can't get the empties out of the chamber. Certainly isn't high pressure so I suspect it has some quality control issues.

Maybe we got a bad lot. But the similar 12 gauge ammo seems to have some inconsistent primers in that some seem to be very hard requiring two hits in guns that have no such problems with price point Remington/Federal.

Just giving other shooters a heads up on this. Your mileage may vary.

I've used the 12ga trap gold and some 16ga hunting ammo w/o issue but not the 20 ga. Sorry to read this as I kind of linked 12and 16s.
