I just ran across a photo/video download site called Flickr.

Anyone use this, opinions?

Sorry, can't help on that site, but you lured me in with the "subject" heading. I was thinking that at last someone has scored a good flicker image. Hundreds of those birds seen on every run around here, but they must be psychic. A millisecond before one reaches his shutter, they fly off.

Seems to be oriented heavily toward the social media "smart" crowd with all kinds of automatic apps and stuff. I don't want things going out or coming in unless I ask it to. Also looks like one needs to contribute if he wants all of the slick bells and whistles. No idea whether images are downsized like my Photobucket uploads or not.

Sign up and give us a report in a month or so.

This looks like a Flicker.



They eat holes in the buildings around the country.

I did a post a while ago about using it to post photos here. A search should pull it up. I switched to it from Photobucket a while ago, but it isn't as easy to use as Photobucket used to be.

Edited to add: The thread I started was from Sept 2014, so you need to search back farther than the default, which is a year.
