I have a set of 1/4" ignition wrenches for adjusting the lock nuts of old style Winchester Model 70 triggers but the ones on my MRC 1999 are bigger than 1/4". (Apparently MRC has bigger nuts than Winchester.)
Does anybody know exactly what size wrench the 1999 trigger adjustment nuts take?
And yes I called MRC and asked but had to leave a voice mail, and have sent them an email also. But while I'm waiting for a reply (XS sights never replied to my questions to them after three attempts over three weeks) I thought maybe some campfire member might know.

I can check my owners manual when I get home from work in an hour. I dont know if it will be in there but I will check.

I appreciate it, but Dean from MRC just responded to my email. They take 5/16" wrenches. Looks like I'll be getting to the car parts store today and doing a little trigger adjustment tonight.

It never occurred to you to, you know, measure the diameter yourself with something, you know, like dial calipers so that, you know, you could answer this puzzlement on your own? Or maybe just take a stab at trying a 5/16" or 9/32" wrench? Common sense ain't your strong suit, but drama queen bullshit is.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.
