How do I get some cast 350-grainers to fit my CZ 550 .416 Rigby, like Western Bullets offering do? My mold leaves a tiny seam but that's not what's making the results hard to chamber. Measured the bands at 0.418" (as opposed to 0.416 with Westerns) and I believe the sizer we had to work with is a tad wide for what I want.

Not really up on all the "how to" and my friend that does casting is away for now. Looked at YouTube videos on Lee sizers, and I have RCBS stuff, but no button or kit. Kits show .410 and I need larger than that.

Not in a jam, just have a bunch of boolits on hand I may want to use next. Fun to shoot!

Thanks

Unless I'm missing something in your question, you need a .416" sizer die. Most people size their bullets after casting, are you not?

I know there are a few guys that offer custom sizing dies and I believe at least one of them makes a lee style push through you can mount on your press. I'd google cast boolits custom sizer and I'm sure it will take you right to a thread or two with contact information.

I believe Lee might make custom push through sizers as well, but the custom guys will be much faster.

My friend did the casting, lubing and sizing. I don't know what he uses -- it was what he had on hand and worked before with a heavier alloy. I need to buy what I need.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Lee...custom push thru die. .417" is your huckleberry.

Try Buckshot on the castboolits forum, he used to make them for a reasonable price.

Lee custom in .416 coming my way. The .417 my friend had isn't "fine" enough. Thanks to all.
