Talking about bolt action rifles, do any rimfire rifles have triggers that "feel" like modern centerfire rifle triggers?

If not, are there any aftermarket rimfire triggers that "feel" like centerfire triggers?

Most of my centerfire experience has been with Remington 700s and pre-Accutrigger Savage 110s, but I have shot a few other centerfires too, and in my experience with a few rimfire rifles, the rimfire triggers feel considerably different when firing, even if the pull weight is similar.

Look into a Timney trigger for the aftermarket triggers, or a Jewel trigger.

My 77-22 was as crappy as as a m77 so yes.....both are easy to rework...

My new CZ 452 has a pretty good trigger, straight out of the box, better than my 455's trigger, which has some creep.

Both are pretty good, but can be improved with some springs and sleeves, I'm told. Neither rifle of mine needs those, but it can and is done by a lot of folks. That's under $15, they say. I can live with mine, as is.

My Marlin bolt action .22's do after I get done with them.

Most of the rimfires my wife and I own have centerfire-type trigger pulls, the rifles including an Anschutz 54, Browning T-Bolt (the original), a couple of CZ 452's, and a Yonkers Kimber. The NULA .22 rimfire also has a very good trigger pull, because it has a Timney trigger.

But it also depends on how you define centerfire. My Winchester 62A pump (essentially a pump version of a Winchester lever-action) has a better pull than most 94's I've owned, and the pull on Eileen's Savage 29B pump is also very good.

Dunno how you're defining a different feel.

The trigger on my CZ 455 Varmint is one of the very best I have--right out of the box.

My Cooper 57M had as good trigger as I've ever felt.

My CZ 512 had a horrible trigger but I knew that going in. There is an excellent gunsmith about 15 minutes from my house that did a trigger job. He brought it from 7 lbs down to 3. That was three years. Now it has a 2.5 lb pull. I guess it lightened up some with use.

Like Mule Deer I'm not sure what you mean by "Feels like a centerfire."

My CZ 452 rimfire had a terrible trigger when I got it. I bought a trigger kit from YoDave and fixed it myself. The kit comes with four different springs and spacers and gives you real choices on how it feels. If you don't want to do it yourelf, your gunsmith could do it easily and quickly.

My trigger on the CZ now feels the way centerfire triggers should feel. I'm an old benchrest shooter (Emphasis on "old") and have been shooting 1-1/2 or 2 oz. triggers for nearly forty years. My CZ trigger is set very light, probably around 6 or 8 oz., but with the YoDave kit you can set it amyway you want.

The kit costs $20.00 and is one of life's bargains.

I too do not know exactly what you mean by different feel. Both my CF and RF rifles have creep free triggers in the 2-3 lb range and feel the same to me.
