OP earlybrd Campfire Outfitter E Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 14,760 Likes: 5	Have a Remington 700 serial #G6587714 looks to have a classic style stock no black forend so i know it cant be a classic cause none were made in 270 and without the black forend it cant be a cdl or bdl what is it?

Don't know who told you they were NOT made in .270, but they were, for several years before they did the "one chambering a year" thing. For some years, they were available in several chamberings, not just selected stuff. You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
