Any suggestions on the best apps or software for keeping track of various reloads? I'm not as much interested in ballistic calculations, pressure calculations, etc. as I am in keeping track of the different batches and loads of ammo I have.
In the past I used to use a simple Excel spreadsheet, and am now using the (free) version of Shooter's Log, which is okay. But as I often spread out the reloading steps over a few days, split batches with different powder/bullet combinations, etc. I'm looking for something a bit more flexible.
Thanks in advance, Washougal Chris

I just use a magic marker, write the cartridge on the can and use a sharpie to write the load on the side of the tool head. No need for spread sheets and a bunch of stuff that goes away when the power is out...

I do keep all the load data 'backed up' with either labels on the reloads, or an index card slipped into the box. But at times it's nice to review all the different loads I've tried, usually to keep me from repeating previous mistakes...

For the PC I've always used PointBlank available from HuntingNut.com. They have a newer version now, but I've stuck with the older one that I keep on a USB drive.

I ended up where you started out. IMO nothing beats an excel sheet customized to what you want to track.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've downloaded PointBlank and will play with that a bit. We'll see if it can beat Excel.
Thanks, Chris
