Anybody have any experience with either or both reticles?
Apples to oranges mostly, find myself curious about two scopes, the Swaroski Z3 3-10x42 with BRH, and the MeoPro 4.5-14x44 with McWhorter HV reticle, most probably with target turrets..
Scope is for a .264 Win Mag, 26" barrel model 70. Objective for the rifle is a slightly heavy hunting rig, mountain goat, black bear, whatnot, and take a a small step towards shooting sorta long range. Just tryna start making my way out to 5-6, maybe 700 yards at this point. Complete newbie at the distance thing, reckon I,ve got a lot of research to do, anybody wants to point me in the right direction, would,nt hurt my feelings...
Not quite sure if I,m ready to tackle the full on MOA, mil type reticles just yet, thought the Christmas tree type reticles might not be a bad start.
