Should be like this on a SS, they say... That looks more than 1/4" to me. Would only a 1/4" set back indicate an early model?

Set back in a 1/4" or so. So are you OK if they sent you old stock, something they decided not to sell but, because of inventory shortage, did? Seems like that may be the case.

Just to clarify, don't want to get any rumors going and start crap around here.
From SWFA:
