Very nice - are those grips from the local guy you've been using? The frame coloring looks better than most - has it been redone? Negative on the grips, I've been lugging them around for YEARS. They were on a Bisley in 45 Colt I had 15 years ago but sold. I obviously kept the grips and they've hung around several moves to Alaska and back. No idea on the other, it's pretty much NIB.

It was bought with a multi gun estate that included several very collectible Rugers and S&W's that the deceased bought new and stored away. The best example was a 4-digit Ruger No. 1 in 25-06 that was in the original box (early '70's). It was not recolored. My bet is that it was handpicked for the vibrant colors. I have seen a few other Bisley Vaqueros with pretty coloring and they were probably from the same era. Scott's 4-3/4" 44 Mag Bisley Vaquero is a rare gun.
