Call it whatever, but a microcosm of what will happen in America is already occurring in the Netherlands,...and 100,000 Syrian refugees are already in the U.S.A.

We may see a strong surge in Europe soon because they are just getting over run by Muslims. And the Muslims don't care about their culture. The governments over there are playing the same pc crap as ours here and people are getting fed up with it. It could get ugly real soon. Whether people like it or not, there is going to be some mass confrontations over the Muslims and it'll likely be riots in Europe in the next year or so. Those governments and/or the UN will likely try to beat down the riots. That's one of the reasons why it is extra important right now to defeat any gun control here. Obama knows the conflict is coming here and he wants to control guns before it happens because Americans will start taking matters into their own hands. This isn't France... yet.

It's already started but Americans aren't seeing it.
The Poles are definitely on board.
Glenn Beck just took a trip to Sweden and said they are seriously pissed off. The are estimating that the Swedes will be a minority in Sweden in about 10 years.

I think Rand Paul's isolationist message is what's needed.
Yeah, works great for North Korea
Isolationism is a term of derision created as a weapon to use against patriotic nationalist Americans by the Wilsonian internationalist left. Those accused of isolationism never advocated the isolation of America, only a traditional nationalist, non-interventionist, position.
"…Trump’s supporters are beginning to understand politics is about who, not what, and seem to trust that he [will] use the state to protect them from perceived enemies, rather than unleashing it on them, as Obama has done. The rise of Trump isn’t “fascism,” but long overdue resistance and self-defense from an occupied people tired of being treated like enemies of the state in the country they built…"

Isolationism is a term of derision created as a weapon to use against patriotic nationalist kook-fringe, isolationist Americans by the Wilsonian internationalist left. by folks who actually understand Foreign Policy and the national interest. Those accused of isolationism never advocated the isolation of America, only a traditional nationalist, non-interventionist, position. until it was too late, thus forcing us into a world war that could have been avoided by early and decisive punitive actions.
I know you fantasize about Neville Chamberlain, but I figured you needed some help.

This argument on the political stage usually drive me nuts. There's two positions- either isolated or anything goes. There's lots of gray area on this issue. There's no reason we can't engage in the world, have legal immigration AND focus more attention on our on matters and security. We just need to pay more attention to our own domestic needs as opposed to trying to save every stray kitten in the world. That's not isolationist, it's practical. And we need to enforce the friggin immigration laws for a change. That's not isolationist, it's prudence.

It's been awhile since I've been to the Northern Va. area but yes, the demographics ain't what they used to be.
Turbans, burkas and prayer mats are everywhere. My step mother was the last remaining non sand rat owner in a huge three building high rise condo complex.

Speaking of the Netherlands, last Friday my wife and I attended a Christmas party where there were a lot of people gathered. Sitting at our table was a lady about 65, and her husband. They were originally from Holland but had immigrated here about 30 years ago.
They still had a son and daughter in Holland, and other relatives, plus a brother and sister living in Germany. They travel back to Holland twice a year to visit. They had just returned from their Fall visit to Holland a week before the Christmas party.
They told us that Holland, the other Scandinavian countries, Germany, etc., are an absolute disaster as the mid-eastern immigrants flood into those countries by the hundreds of thousands. Also they said that the Socialist policies of all those countries are now breaking them.
The husband and wife have been U.S. citizens for many years and love it here. They said that when they visit relatives in Holland, after a few days they can not wait to get back to the U.S., "home." They are also a very successful couple.
They also said that our political institutions are now hell bent on turning the U.S. into replicas of those failed Socialist countries and our own politicians are destroying our country and freedoms.
I agree completely.
