Something wrong with a society that locks up a gal for doing a 17 year old boy, then lets that same teacher teach that same boy, from about kindergarten, that is it ok for Johnny to have two daddies.

I woulda hit it! Just have to look nowadays though.

Reminds me of the Larry the Cable guy joke where he was giving a friend high-fives after being told he was banging his teacher, then he found out he was home schooled.

Hey, I'll agree teenage guys are a whole diff'rent species than teenage girls, and reactions oughtta be adjusted accordingly.

But... this sorta thing just ain't nowhere close to being a school teacher, and she knew the rules going in.

Now, I expect not a one of us here woulda narced on her, ever, if we was the high school student but...

...she's gotta be criminally dumb to expect discretion or confidentiality out of a teenager. Sounds like kid #2 was crowing it from the rooftops (an understandable reaction) .

Especially easy to do now that every kid is on their cell phone every other minute.

Which brings up the other point; of her texting and SENDING PHOTOS to a kid???

Might as well skip the preliminaries and put 'em out on Facebook, gonna end up there anyway, for every kid in the school to see, by day two.

When I was a teenager in the 60's, most of my female teachers were post-menopausal. By the time I retired from teaching high school a few years ago, most of my female colleagues were young hotties. When you are just a few years older than your students, it requires discipline and professionalism to establish and maintain the proper distance.

Kids need to learn and keep their mouths shut, in HS I would have gladly let victimize me, repeatedly

Same here, growing up in the '50s.

I'm thinking it was because in those days school boards had sense enough not to dangle temptation in front of horny teenage boys.

I wonder if these days they are afraid of being accused of discrimination against hotties, or something like that.

Wasn't anything like that when I was in school.

Birdwatcher, it's not just the teenage boys that have changed. My last few years in the classroom, I saw more female flesh, and heard more sex-oriented girl-talk, than I would have ever imagined during my own teenage years. I can only imagine what is texted and sexted. During new-teacher orientation, my principal would introduce me, then leave the room while I told the newbies how it worked in the real world. I told it like I saw it, and the head honcho wanted plausible deniability. We still lost the occasional new teacher to accusations of impropriety. I guess for some of them there was just too much low-hanging fruit.
Bottom line-
Teenagers test limits.
Responsible adults set and maintain limits, regardless of the temptations.

There ain't a 17 year old boy alive who wouldn't brag about hitting that to anyone and everyone who'd listen.

Might have done a lot of after school work back then.

Just have to keep their lips zipped.

Quite frankly, that teacher is so stupid everyone should be glad she is no longer educating our youth.

Given her physical attributes and lacking judgment, I'd say she's fit for the stripper pole as a career.

I hope she moves to Montana after her probation starts though.....
