What issues have you had with lw's or the Talley and warne vertically split?

Only rings I ever had issues with were wind adj bases. Had the adjustment screw break several times so haven't used any in years. I don't switch scopes between rifles very often though.... I like the SK's lately, putting those on a few recently.

No issues, just "looks" I reckon. I can get LW's both facing forward but scope is just a tad forward for my likes. They all work fine, just being a picky bitch. DD's seem the cleanest.

DD's...if the scope allows.

If it doesn't I usually choose a different scope. smile

What kind of rifle you trying to outfit?

Bull, Standard or Featherweight barrel?
Wood, plastic, or fiberglass stock?
Detachable rings for use with open sights or no open sights?
Is this a backpack rife meant to be light, or something heavier?

Knowing the above would go a long way to answering better.
