They look fantastic. Would look great if they came in a dual dovetail set-up too. It just hit me what's missing........a red recoil pad. Good looking rig Chet, thanks for sharing.

A safe bet that Burgess made those bases. Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. A red pad would look fine, in fact my 270 Legend has one. I just slightly prefer a thin black pad. To my eye, it gives a rifle like this more of the essence of a steel but plate.
