Today, we took another little tour.. Only saw one sitting in the shad of some old trees.. Spotted him with binocs.. Too far for my revolvers, so I tried the Marlin .30-30. 170 Horn did the job.. Kate made the retrieve.. No pics til we got home..

Wyo: I love seeing the little baby dog digging all this stuff! Likewise congrats on the 1911 shooting. Wayyyyy back in the day I qualified 'Expert' with one of those....still can't tell you how, cause if we were locked up in a phone booth together I couldn't hit you with a 1911.....

By noon, my son's wife called saying the furnace wouldn't turn on and he had to call it quits at noon with over 50 rabbits in the pot. Those that were blown too badly to keep were left for the coyotes...

First day of 2016. Missed the first cat on stand 3, then redeemed myself on stand 5.

RWE- that's hilarious. I quit believing in camo when I was teenager. Don't own a single piece of it. I have found is you sit still and STFU you are just as successful.

Ingwe. We have a ton of cats around here. At least where I'm
At. I call more cats than coyotes and fox. Just the kind of country it is I reckon. We are only allowed 5 a year which is 3 by gun, 2 by trap.
