Hi I am searching for a butt stock and the crescent moon butt plate for a old Win. 94 , octagon barrel , 30WCF (30-30) . It can be a take off or new one . I have been told that there are people out there making replacements , but I can not find them . Have found some old take offs locally but they were really rough , to rough for my project . Thanks

Boyds can sure out fit you with a stock.
For the butt plate, try Jack First Inc (www.jackfirstgun.com), Wisners,or Numrich Gun Parts

.

Old? How old? I'm guessing that you know that the pre WWII stocks and those made after WWII are not interchangeable.

Stocks with crescent butt plates were typically found on M94 Sporting Rifles which Winchester ceased producing in Jan. 1938....
