My son has been itching for a pellet rifle to shoot in the backyard and creek so we hit the stores today and he used his Xmas $$ to pick up a .177 cal Crosman 2100 Classic. I had this same model for many years when I was younger and shot a lot of pests with it and still LOVE the wok-wok-wok sound from a 10-pump!! For a serious pellet rifle, there's no topping a RWS 54 but for the $$, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value than the Crosman 2100 Classic. With this pellet rifle, I forsee lots of fun times and dead pests in his future! So what was everyone else's go-to pellet rifle growing up??
Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

No pellet rifle, but our old Benjamin pump, single shot BB gun made it through 5 boys and definitely was a detriment to the blackbird population in our area. I still have it, since I'm the 5th of the 5. Back sight is missing, "compression" questionable, wouldn't think of selling it.....

No pellet rifle, just an old single shot 22.

Crosman 760 Pumpmaster. Mine had a scope. Bought it from a friend when I was fourteen.

A Daisy bb gun then a Benjamin 347 which I still have. From age 8 till 14, the Daisy bb gun was my go-to, but it was a huge step up when I got that .177 caliber Crosman. Amazingly accurate. I could pick off hornets at twenty paces. Toy soldiers at twice that far didn't stand a chance.

Started out with a daisy BB gun and went to a Crossman at about age 8, At 12 I had enough pennies save up for a Sheridan Blue Streak.
Now that I'm all grown up I use a Norica model 73 to rid the pests.

Benjamin Brass .22 caliber. Three pumps for smallish stuff. Five pumps for squirrels and such. Still very powerful and accurate. Shoots 1" groups at 35 yds. My grandsons haven't hurt it.
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.
