Finally got the 55 gr .228 Buffalo Arms bullets and I think I'm going to like this. Switched the scope to a 1.5-4.5x20 Nikon Monarch with finer crosshairs, the 1.5-6x40mm 's objective bell was too large for the mount I have. 2 1/8" center to center at 300 yards.

I use the Buffalo 150 grain .318 bullets in 8X57JR and they perform very well. Good expansion & penetration. Haven't used the .228's but they should be tough bullets too.
