Too bad I left my job offshore Caspian Sea (well not really...). Sturgeon was the industry as oil arrived. Caviar abounded.

My, how far we've fallen... From Rebecca Creek, to shampagney...

I suppose we'll give up the fire-grilled shrimp & jalapeno poppers, for eggs benedict & salmon croquettes. grin

I was planning to bring Becky Crick, in any case. The shampagney is optional. If there are nosy/pushy striches around, we'll let them have the bubbly.

If it stumbles into the fire, reckon we'd have to put it out of it's (tasty) misery.

Hm.

That reminds me. Is Powell making it? He's fallen into a fire or two I hear, but has he ever fallen into a fire wrestling an ostrich?

Bring burn cream..., check on nearest burn facility... - check.

Golldammed motion detector lights. A guy can’t even piss off his porch in peace any more.

If there's an ostrich, I doubt it'll be safe from Lois.

Bring the burn cream. No hospitals within many miles of this place.
Air flight out if your that bad to old San Antonio.
In fact bring your emergency med kit if you can get it on board a flight.
If not, nothings going to happen to anyone.
I remember the PINS trip of a few years ago. 25 or so miles down the beach to camping spot. We had a Doc/fisherman with us, he had his emergency kit with him. 16 year old helper stuck a (whatever it's called, a T shaped bar you use to
push a 2 inch hook into the 18 inch bate fish) sharp bar into his arm and wrist. The Docs. bag had the correct kind of drugs to help keep the pain down on the two hour drive back to town by Roger.

There will be one Doctor there, but meanwhile we just try not to get shot, bit by a pig or snake, or butt-phouced by an ostrich....

I thought Sandcritter was the Doc, I never met him.

That does remind me of another, Ed's place (NE TEXAS).
So I get to meet Dennis from AZ at this one. He's a nice guy, drives a Diesel.
Part of the group is sitting outside just visting. Dennis and myself are looking at the weather radar on our phones. Rainy springtime weather. Dennis is worried about a squall line of storms heading our way.
I said to Dennis don't worry about it Dennis, this stuff happens all the time in the spring out here. Few mins. later an F1 tornado came over the camp and tore up most of the camping gear and part of Eds house. Never seen a tornado before, didn't see this one. Air went from complete stillness to the 80/100 mph instantly.
I did feel not to accurate of a playtime weather guy at that time. blush
