I've used accurate spinners for several years. They are magnificent! I think their conventionals are top of the heap.

This one I received as a gift is tiny, like a miniature reel! 300 yards of 40lb braid. With 20+ pounds of drag. I've not used a conventional reel in 40 year. I think it will make a dandy addition to my gear.


Now I need a good 7' rod to go with it.

I've got a pile of the smaller boss 197s and 270s, so I am an accurate fan. I haven't got my mitts on the bv300, but I'm sure it's of the highest quality. I use my accurates for everything up to tuna. I'd love to see a comparison of your reel and a 197.....
