I drove through heavy traffic Friday just to buy some Winchesters I don't need.
They do not have serial numbers. The best I can date them is the Win 37 12 ga was made between 1937 and 1964.
But the Win 69A 22, lacking tip off ring grooves, was made between 1937 and 1954.
I don't need them, I guess I just felt like collecting them.

Nice guns.. Most of the stuff I have I don't "need". I just want it.. I guess I could have gotten along all these years with my .22 rifle, .22-250 and .300 Win. but it wouldn't have been as much fun, and I have learned a great deal about guns, bullets, etc.. Nice find..

Thanks,

My late father had 1) a 22 from boyhood, 2) a 30-06 like he used in WWII, and 3) a 12ga he shot pheasants and ducks with.
He transported his guns in the trunk of the car without a gun case. He died at age 90 with 3 scratched up guns.

When I die it will be some sweaty hard work, getting all those guns to the pawn shop.
