I'm not very knowledgable about Marlin's but one of these is for sale locally and I'm interested. It's an early 80's model and has a small ding/dent in the stock but otherwise seems to be in great shape.
What would Porter Rockwell do?

A 1894 .357 would easily bring $700 to $750 depending on condition. These rifles are just plain a hoot to shoot.

Thanks Rem & Doc. I'm going to see if I can't bring it home with me.
